A pearl is not formed by chance alone. It is shaped by time and the quiet intelligence of the ocean. Moonfall takes its name from an old myth—that pearls were once believed to be teardrops of the moon falling into the sea.
We do not treat this as mythology. We treat it as language.
Each necklace features a single South Sea pearl—either Tahitian or White South Sea—chosen for its natural formation, tone, and surface character.
Suspended on 3mm black flat kangaroo leather, the pearl is held in contrast rather than display. A mother of pearl button caccent completes the piece, referencing the circular origin of light and formation within water. This piece is adjustable and designed for fluid wear—sitting close to the body without structure or rigidity. All materials are natural, responsibly sourced, and selected with consideration for environmental impact and longevity.
PROVENANCE NOTE
Each pearl used in this piece is unique in form and expression. Shapes may include semi-round, semi-baroque, circled, or naturally irregular formations. Colour, lustre, and surface markings are not controlled outcomes—they are records of growth within living water systems. No two pearls are ever identical. The pearl you receive will be singular.
